Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description We have performed initial in-depth studies considering the definitions of sensitive data particularly the effects of both the individual and the context of this disclosure. These have been contextualised within the use of conversational agents, we have particularly focussed on the application in both the healthcare and finance domain.
Exploitation Route We've clearly articulated the challenges of using conversational agents in sensitive areas, such as healthcare whilst identifying that there is more likely to be success and widespread adoption of conversational agents in the finance domain.

We've also empirically demonstrated the data items that are difficult to gather from interactions with conversational agents.
