Results and Impact A workshop was held at the ESRC Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science on 3rd June 2009 on the Olympics, risk and risk management. The workshop addressed a range of cross-cutting themes related to preparations for and staging of the London 2012 Olympics. It was attended by more than twenty participants drawn from academia and a range of public organisations with responsibilities for delivering the Games, along with risk and insurance professionals from the private sector.
