Description This placement fellowship focused on providing tailored health economics training and one-to-one support to staff at Sheffield Primary Care Trust. The focus of this training was on helping staff interpret recent health economics evidence and support their work in commissioning cost-effective health care services.
Exploitation Route The health economics training provided is anticipated to be used by commissioners in public health.

Description This placement fellowship focused on providing tailored health economics training and one-to-one support to staff at Sheffield Primary Care Trust. The focus of this training was on helping staff interpret recent health economics evidence and support their work in commissioning cost-effective health care services. Part of the outcome of the placement was in developing contacts between the School of Health and Related Research and local health care commissioners. These links are ongoing; for example, through these links in June 2014 I presented and ran a workshop for a large community event "Communities got talent".
