Technical Summary

This funding will enable the Institute to address two major aims:

i) understanding the coronavirus pathogen, including viral assembly, host factors and exploitation of structural components for the development of therapeutic targets; and

ii) understanding the features of host response to infection that shape protective or pathological responses and defining correlates of immunity and immune pathology.
