ATLAS Upgrade (WP6) - Design studies for the ATLAS L1Calo Upgrade Project

Abstract

The propose research will investigate the design of the level 1 trigger in the ATLAS experiment for the high luminosity operation. The goals are to reduce the 40 MHz event rate to less than 100 kHz.
