PI Contribution The AWAKE-UK collaboration and our instrumentation development are integral to the future of the AWAKE project and the future physics runs. We are developing beam diagnostics to fully characterise the accelerated electron beam which has unique properties from the plasma wakefield used to accelerate it.
Collaborator Contribution We have been able to leverage the support of the AWAKE project to secure several weeks of beam time at international accelerator facilities for the diagnostic development and proof of concept measurements.
Impact Several journal articles, these are listed in the publications section.
