UK-Ireland Kinetic Inductance Detector development

Lead Research Organisation: Durham University
Department Name: Physics

Abstract

This project will develop a new electronics for reading out Kinetic Inductance Detectors in collaboration with partners in Ireland. These will enable large arrays of Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KIDs). KIDs are superconducting detectors that require radio-frequency read-out electronics.
