Abstract
VMDIRAC is an extension to DIRAC workload/workflow managemen system that enables dynamic workload management on a cloud.
VMDIRAC currently has support for six different cloud platforms, where each one is its own
module, custom written for the specific cloud type. We propose to standardize these interfaces
using the Apache Libcloud library and refactor these modules to match the existing resource
interfaces in DIRAC. This will ensure that DIRAC remains compatible with standard cloud technologies for the foreseeable future.
