Description This grant payed for us to perform observing runs on the 4.2m William Herschel Telescope with our high-speed camera ULTRACAM. Using ULTRACAM, we have made a number of breakthroughs in our understanding of the structure and evolution of close binary stars.
Exploitation Route Our findings provide the observational underpinning of our understanding of close binary star structure and evolution.
