Cross section measurements of neutrino on Ar with MicroBooNE

Lead Research Organisation: University of Oxford
Department Name: Oxford Physics

Abstract

There are very few data of neutrino interaction with Ar. Since the next generation of neutrino experiments will rely on Liquid Argon detectors, it is crucial to better understand neutrino cross sections on Ar. MicroBooNE is located in the BNB neutrino beam at Fermilab and will study neutrino interaction around 800MeV. This project will be dedicated to study BNB neutrino interactions in the MicroBooNE detector.
