Re-evaluating the 1980s and 1990s through life histories: politics, privatisation and the culture of government research.

Abstract
This research, based on a series of life story interviews with government scientists, will explore how their working lives were affected by the privatisation of government research establishments. The interviews will contribute to the British Library's Oral History of British Science.
