Dualities and Combinatorics of gauge theories
Lead Research Organisation:
Queen Mary University of London
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
Christopher will be working on mathematical problems related to the
enumeration of gauge invariant operators and the computation of their correlators.
He will focus N=4 super Yang Mills theories, and other quiver gauge theories,
and will consider general classical gauge groups. The physical interpretation of
the results will involve dualities among gauge theories as well as gauge-string duality.
This research will be of interest in string theory and quantum field theory.
