Abstract
Development, calibration, and characterisation of the pre-production focal plane camera to be used on the small sized telescopes (SST) as part of the Cherenkov Telescope Array. Use of the lessons learned and experience gained to inform the design and manufacture of the production phase of cameras leading to the installation of such cameras and testing of a SST system at the array site. Finally, analysing the initial data received from the SST instrument with the aim of gaining new scientific results.
