CM modules in representation theory and algebraic geometry
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Glasgow
Department Name: School of Mathematics & Statistics
Abstract
This project will examine how the representation theory of Cohen--Macaulay (CM) modules interacts with, and solves problems in, algebraic geometry. This will be in part through surface singularities, and links to the weighted projective line, but also through the Homological Minimal Model Programme and the setting of three-dimensional varieties.
