Understanding the Epoch of Reionization through 21cm and CMB observations

Lead Research Organisation: Imperial College London
Department Name: Physics

Abstract

This project will explore statistical signatures of the epoch of reionization in 21cm and CMB observations. We will explore phase based statistics for the 21 cm signal and develop new semi-numerical simulations of reionization. We will further explore the KSZ effect in the CMB and conduct parameter estimation exercise for EoR science using Planck results as a reference.
