Abstract
The project is to use large cosmological hydrodynamical simulations to study the effects of time-varying dark energy and modified gravity on large-scale structure. Significant modification of the simulation code is required to include these effects. Particular attention will be focused on assessing the effects on directly observable quantities, such as weak gravitational lensing (cosmic shear), CMB lensing, galaxy clustering, and the thermal Sunyaev Zel'dovich effect.
