Mass-radius relation of low-mass stars from eclipsing binary stars.

Lead Research Organisation: Keele University
Department Name: Faculty of Natural Sciences

Abstract

The project uses multiple data sources including TESS, K2, Xamidimura, and ground-based spectroscopy in order to parameterise lightcurves of eclipsing binaries and thence study the mass-radius relation of stars as a function of mass, metallicity, binary period, etc.
