The Everyday Affects of Protest: Engaging the Politics of Citizenship at the Museum

Lead Research Organisation: Swansea University
Department Name: College of Science

Abstract

The project proposes practice-led research examining Welsh contemporary experiences of everyday activism, resulting in a co-curated exhibition charting the creation, recreation, demolition, rebuilding and memeification of the 'Cofiwch Tryweryn' mural - exploring the complex ways in which citizens can engage in the 'everyday' politics of place and activism, both in physical and online spaces. .
