Protein network analysis and modelling of endocytic pathways in human brain cells

Lead Research Organisation: Royal Veterinary College
Department Name: Comparative Biomedical Sciences CBS

Abstract

Endocytosis is a conserved cellular process that is critical to normal function of all eukaryotic
cells. This project will use a combination of bioinformatic and biochemical/cellular approaches
to investigate the protein networks that regulate and govern endocytic pathways in human
brain cells, providing insights how the different types of cells resident in the central nervous
system use endocytosis to support their function.
