Exotic low-temperature states in intermetallic transition metal compounds

Abstract
Strongly correlated electrons in intermetallic transition metal compounds give rise to a number of interesting forms of order, such as unconventional superconductivity. These exotic states can be investigated by measuring ultra-pure single-crystal samples at low temperatures and in high magnetic fields.
