Black hole information loss and JT gravity

Abstract
The project will investigate the relation between JT gravity and near-extremal black holes in 4 dimensions. The focus will be on the entropy dynamics using the recently derived formula involving replica wormholes and islands. The goal will be to understand the subtle correlations present in the Hawking radiation.
