Sustainable eating for all: consumer acceptability of sustainable food consumption amongst diverse populations
Lead Research Organisation:
Swansea University
Department Name: College of Human and Health Sciences
Abstract
The aim of the PhD is to understand consumer attitudes towards sustainable foods so that this information
can be used to inform the presentation of products or policies that facilitate the adoption of sustainable
eating practices. The focus will be on BAME populations who are so far under-represented in this research
area. There are likely to be challenges concerning recruitment of the population e.g., language barriers,
although the supervisors have collaborators in Liverpool University who have previously recruited such
samples and are willing to help
