Abstract
The project aims to develop and produce dsRNA biopesticides as alternatives to chemical pesticides. We will take an interdisciplinary approach building on a wealth of skills, experience and background data. The project represents "mechanistic biology" by taking an interdisciplinary approach to understanding from the molecular level (transcription and transcriptional termination) in conjunction with systems level optimisation and analysis at the organism level.
