Nanoscale characterisation of charge and heat transport across interfaces in novel, molecular thermoelectric materials
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Physics
Abstract
This project intends to undertake nananoscale mapping of charge and thermal transport processes in molecular thermoelectric materials by use of Scanning Kelvin Probe Microscopy (SKPM) and Scanning Thermal Microscopy (SThM). The final purpose of this project would be optimising the thermoelectric properties of these materials for use in waste-heat-to-electricity conversion devices.
