Abstract
My research, focussing on the historic use of waterpower within the Derbyshire Derwent catchment (DDC) will quantify the unused HEP potential of this catchment. I will qualitatively examine the impact of the social, political and environmental concerns of waterpower use through an archival study of each site's timeline.
