Anthropology of Islam and anthropology of media; The Media of Moroccan State Ifta' and the Construction of Islamic Scholarly Authority

I plan to conduct ethnographic research on the changing form and content of fatwa requests and responses. While fully assuming human agency and critical reason to define the fatwa process, I hope to discover how media platforms shape participants' intentions and expectations.
