Abstract
The influence of damaged ice and subglaical hydrology on the rheology of ice is not well understood. I propose to join
NERC DTP CE311 to investigate shear margin evolution of Thwaites Glacier in West Anatarctica, also known as the
'Doomsday Glacier' due to it's size, location central to the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, and instability
