Abstract
Kew recently received government funding to digitise its herbarium co lections, as only around 14% of the collection has a digital record. Kew are keen to widen participation in their citizen science volunteers supporting their digitisation work with both natural history and archive co lections. This project will examine the efficacy of different methods for recruiting more diverse volunteers, trialling and evaluating interventions to see what works, and helping advance citizen science/humanities practice at Kew and within the wider museum and citizen science communities.
