Abstract
Self-certifying Facial Identity Authentication System Inspired by the self-certifying file system [2], we propose a Selfcertifying Facial Identity Authentica- tion System. My research will be at the junction of three areas: Cyber Security,
Machine Learning and Operating Systems. I will investigate methods of converting facial identity into an encrypted private
key using machine learning (ML) that can be later used to sign any user-generated content and research novel ways of
deepfake detection technology.
