Abstract
The main focus of this research project is to inhibit and eliminate the polysulfide shuttle effect through the application of solid-state electrolytes and electrodes in order to increase the energy and power densities of the fabricated electrochemical energy devices. This is studied through various electrochemistry techniques, combined with X-ray analysis and electron microscopy techniques to understand how materials influence electrochemical properties.
