Predictive value of brain and behavioural data in early development
Lead Research Organisation:

Department Name: Biological Sciences
Abstract
Early brain growth and development involve significant changes in brain connectivity
and complex behaviours. However, the relationship between brain network
development and individual differences in behaviour remains unclear. This project
aims to assess individual deviations in neurophysiological brain connectivity from large
normative datasets, and further understand how such deviations relate to individual
differences in behavioural outcomes. The student will learn to process and analyse
longitudinal neurophysiological data using advanced brain connectivity and machine
learning methods, shedding light on the role of brain networks in the early
development of behaviour and cognition.
