Abstract
This project mainly falls within the EPSRC continuum mechanics research area, as we will model the gel using theories from poroelasticity.
We will also aligns with the EPSRC numerical analysis research area. The modelling also aligns with the EPSRC healthcare technologies theme. We will work with collaborators from Boston Scientific and the Oxford Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences.
