Abstract
I am keen to undertake a course of doctoral research, not only so I might better clarify the interaction between language and attention, but so that I might situate this association within the context of a more dynamic and interactive visual world - such as the one in which we live. A popular paradigm used to investigate this interaction between language and visual attention is the Visual World paradigm.
