Rotation 1: Biological plausible models of visual perceptual learning
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: School of Biological Sciences
Abstract
BBSRC strategic theme: Understanding the rules of life
Developing a biologically informed deep learning model, with notions of excitatory and inhibitory neurons, and training in it visual perceptual tasks. Objective is to understand the neural dynamics driving perceptual learning in the brain, and combining model results with fMRI data.
