Loss-of-function variants of the axon death protein SARM1 and protection from human neurodegenerative disease

Lead Research Organisation: University of Cambridge
Department Name: Clinical Neurosciences

Abstract

elucidation of the molecular mechanisms driving age-related neurodegeneration,
thus I aim to complete my education in the study of programmed axon cell death, and specifically in the exploration of the
targeting of the pro-death protein SARM1 as a means to ameliorate the presentation of a wide range of
neurodegenerative disorders.
