Self-driving microscopes for drug discovery
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Engineering
Abstract
Hardware automation has long been a problem in the field of high-throughput screening of biological samples. This project will develop tools based on reinforcement learning to create a "self-driving" super-resolution microscope. This will then be applied in the context of drug discovery with the high throughput screening of different treatments to a range of human diseases.
