Vortex and colloidal flows in mesoscopic systems

Abstract
Previous studies have looked at density driven flows of vortices in type 2 superconducting materials down thin channels. These systems are also related to systems seen in colloidal systems, biological systems such as bacteria and cell growth, and in dusty plasmas.
