Abstract
Climate change (Cook et al, 2016) is the greatest problem of the twenty-first century (Foster, 2010),
even the entire history of humanity (Beuret, 2016). Since the ecological crisis is heavily related to
human activities (IPCC, 2013), it is necessary to identify and objectify the collaborative projects
(Blunden, 2010; 2014) that propose to solve the problems involved: i.e., those social movements,
institutions, communities, families and individuals that are committed to environmentalist causes. It
is also important to explain how individuals become climate activists and how collectives facilitate this
process of becoming. The project will engage with and objectify the prototypes of (a)becoming a
climate activist,(specially in youth activists) (b) solidarising within and between climate social
movements, c) solidarity in everyday life of climate activists, and d) solidarity between activists'
projects and institutionalized projects (schools, the State, banks etc.)
