Explainable AI (XAI): A Creative Copilot for Interior Designers
Lead Participant:
VISUALIST TECHNOLOGIES LTD
Abstract
Interior designers are under-utilising AI in their workflows, and missing opportunities to improve efficiencies and save time in client, admin and creative workflows.
In this project, we develop a system based on Explainable AI (XAI) to increase trustworthiness and fairness of AI, so as to accelerate the adoption of AI in creative industries.
Our proposed solution is a chatbot (Vbot) integrated within our platform (Visualist) to assist in moodboarding and colour workflows, especially in the initial stages of work. These often involve research and iterative steps, and are mundane/repetitive. Vbot frees up time for creatives to work more in their 'zone of genius': engaging in highly specialised creative work.
