UbiApps: Secure Cloud Mobility

UbiApps is creating innovative Internet middleware that allows cloud deployments and web applications to run safely in browsers and make optimal use of the network resources. The product is targeted at Enterprises and Network Operators that want to embrace mobile cloud technologies
UbiApps is builds upon existing HTML5, and Web API technologies, but innovates
substantially over the state of the art by:
* Ensuring the browser and locally saved data is highly secure
* Adapting the network communications technology to make it both more secure and more efficient
* Directly addresses the enterprises need to "manage" the cloud end points - browsers - in an efficient way
The technology has been designed to be "multi device" - being fit for purpose not just for
laptops, but for mobiles, tablets, automotive, set top box and M2M installations.
he project is backed by a team with impeccable credentials in the mobile, web application, security and cloud space.
Funds are required to subsidise a proof of concept that will validate the component
technologies choices, and act as a demonstrator for potential customers and partners. Funds are also needed to build and protect the IPR portfolio.
In order to scale UbiApps will build upon open source components being developed under the webinos, phonegpap, chrome and node.js open source projects, but will retaon critical innovations needed to address its target Enterprise as proprietary code.
The UbiApps core asset to be developed is re-usable middleware for many devices, but as part of the proof of concept work 2-3 critical applications on concrete devices will be supported.
The architecture of UbiApps is similar to the RIM Blackberry enterprise solution for mobile Email, however instead of just adding Enterprise value add to messaging, it provides the same values of security, optimisation and management to the ecosystem of web applications and mobile cloud computing.
