Abstract
The research will entail the examination of manuscript and printed sources for Antonín Dvorák's third opera, Tvrdé palice (The Stubborn Lovers), and the creation of a critical edition of the full score of the opera for scholars and performers (the only printed edition of the opera to date is a vocal score from 1882). The edition will be published by the music publisher Editio-Bärenreiter, Prague.
