Impact Met weekly with the artistic team to advise of work worthy of further consideration and feedback on work in development. Oversaw the strategy for the development and production of new work, including research and development, and acted as in-house literary resource for visiting companies and internal projects. This included authoring the New Works section of the theatres' business plan that was then submitted to ACE and approved.

Impact • Organising workshop/seminar for MA students at the University of the Arts London (UAL) as a way of introducing them to look at different kinds of archives for their inspiration. • Contributing to the series of Dissertation Open Days run by the RDT for third-year-BA and later students. • Contributing to two major AHRC soundscapes projects (the first, an early modern history one led by York and Liverpool John Moores Universities; the second, a literature/digital project led by Newcastle University) and the development of their research. A position paper that I wrote for Wellcome re the first project was published on the Early Modern Soundscapes blog: https://emsoundscapes.co.uk/author/louise-marshall/ • Developing a new line of personal research - on the paralysed voice and subjectivity. I delivered a paper on this at Sounding the Archive (see below). • I organised Sounding the Archive (28 June 2019): this was a one-day conference (or master class) which looked at how new knowledge might be gleaned from archives by using sonic methodologies. Thirty-five people attended and the event was substantially over-subscribed. Speakers came from the AHRC's Listening across Disciplines II project, the Science Museum, University of the Arts London, University of Surrey, University of Kent, Oxford Brookes, British Library and Wellcome (me!). Two new art works (a vocal performance by Yifeat Ziv and a bio-feedback sound walk by Tarik Haskic) were created for the event and premiered at the Collection on the day. The event targeted early career researchers and as much slotted into one of the Wellcome's four research development strategies. In addition to the UK-based attendees, we had people who travelled from Stockholm, Leipzig and New York (this last one via video conference) to be with us. The feedback from the event has been hugely exciting and positive. • Introducing strategic and structural initiatives that benefit both institution and the researcher. These include widening our reach to doctoral students not funded by research councils; and (and I am rather proud of this) bring Wellcome and techne together for the purpose of becoming partner organisations. • Supporting the RDT across the four strands of its Research Development Programme.

PI Contribution Research skills, subject knowledge and practical skills of archaeology practice. This project has added significantly to the Museum of London's knowledge of its own collections. Prior to this research, many objects were only known by the identifications they had been given on excavation in the 19th century. All objects have now been re-identified and dated with reference to the latest archaeological literature. This project has provided updated catalogue entries and professional quality photographs for all objects in the collection. As the objects were examined, they were repackaged in accordance with the Museum's current standards to ensure their long-term survival. A list was also compiled of objects in need of additional conservation. In the next few years the Museum of London will be moving to a new location. This project therefore provided a unique opportunity to study these objects before they became temporarily inaccessible. The report produced for this project not only adds to our typological understanding of these objects, but also identifies ways in which these objects can improve our understanding of the people of Roman London. As such, it will form a resource that curators can draw on when designing displays for the new Museum. An article written for the Museum's Discover blog will help to engage audiences beyond the museum itself, and promote the Museum as a research institution.
Collaborator Contribution he opportunity to learn about Roman leatherwork through hands-on analysis of an exceptional collection. the student acquired practical skills in identifying objects and techniques, and have developed new recording methods tailored to the types of material found in London. This experience will be directly beneficial to the student's next job as a Registered Finds Specialist at Museum of London Archaeology, where he will shortly be working on several major Roman leather assemblages.
Impact An article written for the Museum's blog.

Results and Impact I made Scratch Mornings monthly and rebranded them as Scratch Studio, a forum for artists to share new work in early stages of development. These studios now regularly sell out
I ran the Playwrights Programme including the introduction of workshopping sessions and feedback meetings for the writers. I represented the theatres at Open House, the Literary Managers forum, Venues North and an arts consultation with local councillors.
