Joint UK / China Hydrogen production network

Lead Research Organisation: University of Sheffield
Department Name: Chemical & Biological Engineering

Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description The major breakthrough is the development of a novel analytical technique which can be used in order to detect and measure up to 70 chemical species i.e. Hg, Pb, etc in the flue gases on a continuous basis.
Exploitation Route The results from this study has been published and presented widely in UK and China, helping both UK and Chinese power industry in developing clean sources of energy (e.g. chemical looping/Hydrogen production)
Sectors Chemicals,Energy,Environment,Manufacturing, including Industrial Biotechology
