Abstract
Massive stars have a tremendous impact on their environment. By their important mechanical and radiative feedback their can significantly change the physical conditions of the molecular clouds in which they, and other stars, form. The goal of this project is to perform a detail study of some massive star forming infrared dark clouds where we have indication of stellar feedback at a very early stage. By assuming that the dark parts of the clouds are representative of the initial conditions one can evaluate what the exact impact of feedback on the gas properties.
