Abstract
My proposed course of research will evaluate Saffron Demography as an analytical concept to: (i) interrogate the claims of Saffron Demographers, (ii) clarify the extent to which elites subscribe to this paradigm, and (iii) determine how this concept affects the provision of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services.
