SENTINEL – ScalablE predictive maiNTenance system for INtELligent prognosis and condition monitoring
Lead Participant:
SENSEYE LIMITED
Abstract
"Predictive maintenance (PdM) is a key part of the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT) and is reliant upon data quality and quantity. Currently there are no systems on the market that can provide sufficient reliability, quality and quantity of data that is cost effective enough to handle multiple streams of data with comprehensive data analytics. This is a key barrier for many manufacturers who are demanding effective predictive maintenance solutions without the high investment requirements/unknown payback timeframes.
SENTINEL will develop a novel automated prognostics approach for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring which overcomes the high investment cost. This will help UK manufacturers become more productive through reducing unplanned downtime to increase overall equipment efficiency and helping to reduce maintenance costs."
