Methodology for the characterisation of aggregation mechanisms in proteins
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Warwick
Department Name: Chemistry
Abstract
The aim of the PhD project is to develop a biological and characterisation toolbox using NMR spectroscopy (both solution and solid-state NMR) and cryo-EM to probe protein-protein or protein-excipient intermolecular interactions, at resolution scales ranging from low resolution analysis providing domain/region conformational changes to atomic resolution providing site specific interactions, in order to understand the mechanisms of protein aggregation.
