Meson resonances from lattice QCD
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Cambridge
Department Name: Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics
Abstract
Lattice QCD techniques will be developed and used to study meson resonances, near-threshold states and related phenomena. This work will build on recent advances to study systems, including those containing one or more charm quarks, relevant for some puzzling experimental observations. Masses and other properties will be computed and insights into their structure will be obtained (for example, by studying how the phenomena evolve as the light-quark mass is varied).
