An interdisciplinary study of what makes GPs and gatekeepers recommend green prescriptions to their patients
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Sheffield
Department Name: Landscape Architecture
Abstract
This is an action-research proposal, and the researcher will investigate the underlying mechanisms by which GRx are made. The opportunities and constraints associated with providing GRx will also be addressed. The research will be very hands-on and will aim to significantly involve the various stakeholders who have considerable input in health and social prescriptions. This will include GPs and immediate gatekeepers e.g. community support officers.
