Abstract
Slicefinity's "5G Network Slice Allocation Control System for Critical and Emergency Services" (SACSCES) is a subsystem of the company's flagship product, the "5G Smart Slice Allocation & Control System" (SSACS). This technology platform integrates 5G Network Slicing and 5G Network APIs with novel Machine Learning Algorithms to provide prioritized (sometimes guaranteed) and differentiated quality of service to mobile consumers.
SACSCES specifically addresses providing guaranteed and differentiated quality of service to critical users who depend on the mobile network to deliver essential services such as policing, emergency health (ambulance), disaster management in areas affected by natural disasters (floods, earthquakes), public warnings, and more.
Critical workers and devices like IoT require specific quality of service from the mobile network, characterized by data speed, latency, jitter, and security. Slicefinity's SACSCES maps the workload from such critical users into a suitable slice and onboards the user into this slice until the critical event has concluded.
Slicefinity's SACSCES is perfectly suited for the UK's Emergency Services Network, enhancing the efficiency and quality of public services such as the Metropolitan Police (Body Worn Cam, Automatic Number Plate Recognition/ANPR), and remote surgery in an ambulance assisted by a doctor in a hospital.
Slicefinity's SACSCES will provide a much needed use case with 5G Stand-Alone technology by using its unique technology lever - Network Slicing which will add tangible and quantifiable value to users of 5G network.
